Maxson Boyd, Irrigator
Water CenTex LLC was started in January of 2022 after Maxson worked five years in the industry as a Landscape Irrigator. He has been in ATX since kindergarten until graduating in 2015 from Westlake. After a year at UT-Austin in the Radio, Television, Film program he decided the film industry was not for him. He cut his teeth in the irrigation world by programming controllers, changing heads, and pulling pumps out of Lake Travis and the San Gabriel River under a master sprinkler fitter from Abilene. He took a dive into the cold weather of Alaska installing systems for Colton Underground Sprinklers in 2020 and came back to the Hill Country after the big freeze in March of 2021. Maxson loves diving, fishing, first aid, and videography; he absolutely hates writing about himself from the third person.
Payton McWhorter, Project Coordinator
Payton is a Texas native that's been in Austin for the last 8 years. After graduating from UT-Austin with a BS in geography in 2019, she spent her time working for Travis County Parks as a steward of Reimer's Ranch and Hamilton Pool. She also works at Woodchuck Firewood Delivery keeping wood orders on time, scheduling deliveries, and creating a top-notch customer experience. When she isn't behind the phone brightening your day you can usually find her hauling in fish, diving at the bottom of Lake Travis, or splish-splashing around the greenbelt with her two Keeshonds.
