Pump Stations

Submersible lake pump installation on Lake Travis

Submersible Pump

Typically used in wells, submersible pumps are also used as lake pumps or tank pumps.  Most commonly seen on flood control lakes (Lake Travis, Buchanan) and premier properties on Lake Austin where ugly pump equipment is not a variable in the landscape equation. Require a dive team to install.

Flooded Suction pump

Used with either city water or atmospheric tank (like a booster pump for a well or rainwater system). These pumps cannot suck water, so needs to have appropriate suction line sizing and placement from an atmospheric tank, or pressure on the inlet from a city main. Available as pump and manifold or preassembled stainless skid.

Self Priming suction pump

Most common on constant surface water levels (Town Lake, Lake Austin, Lake Marble Falls, Lake LBJ, Inks Lake), these pumps can pull water significant distances. They are also useful for buried cisterns in rainwater collection setups. Available as pump and manifold or preassembled stainless skid.
